Face Painting Rates
Our face painting rate is $100 per hour with a 1½ hour minimum during Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Our mid-week rate is $80 per hour with no hourly minimum on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Travel fees will apply if the location is 30 miles or more past zip code 92673.
If your event is a fundraising effort or non-profit situation, please contact us for a rate and/or percentage agreement.
Book Our Services
We are thrilled that you have chosen Colorful Face Art to provide face painting services for your event.
After we have corresponded and agreed on a date & time, we will hold your date & time for three (3) days. Please download our Service Agreement (requires Adobe reader), complete all applicable information. Either fax or mail it back. Once you have returned the completed agreeement, kindly send us an email informing us that it has been sent. Your event is not "on the books" until the Retainer Fee has been remitted.

The reason we require a Retainer Fee of $50 (non-refundable) is that once you have chosen to hire us to provide services for your event, we will be turning away other potentail business for your date & time. By paying this fee you are securing our time on our calendar, and making a commitment to us. Then you will pay the balance due (less the $50 retainer) at the end of the event.
Retainer Fee to Secure Services:
Your event will not be secured until the Retainer Fee has been received, or other arrangements have been made. This is a non-refundable retainer, should you cancel services. You may also mail a check along with the Service Agreement; however the date will not be secure until funds have cleared.

event planning company "ROMANZA" will appear on your billing statement.
Here is some helpful info you should know:
Cancellation and Rescheduling:
• Should the Client for any reason postpone or reschedule, there will be a fee of $25 for each date postponed or rescheduled. We will transfer your Retainer Fee only in the instance we have not turned away other opportunities to paint at, from your original scheduled date & time.
• In the instance the Client would like to reschedule services, we will do our best to accommodate a mutually agreeable date based on our availability and schedule.
Overtime:
Any time beyond the contracted amount will cost $25 per 15 minute increments, per painter.
Returned Checks:
There will be a $45 fee for returned checks, plus the amount of the check.
Parking:
• Parking must be provided for the artist(s) near the event location, so that equipment may be unloaded.
• The Client will reimburse the artist for any parking fees, or provide parking validation.
Amount of Faces Painted:
• Artist(s) typically average 10-15 quality painted faces per hour, depending on the designs - which may not include “full faces”. We cannot guarantee that all guests/children will be painted and may have to cut off the waiting line 15 minutes prior to our end time, so that we may proceed to our next appointment.
• Should your guest count be high, we suggest adding additional artists in order to accommodate the amount of faces and/or to expedite the wait.
